Whenever we step into new activities, we interact with different peoples, a lot of memories are created and some of them imprinted in our memory.

My Amal journey started with an amazing story, the end result of which helped me a lot to come forward and face the situation independently.

Me and my best friend got selected for this prestigious Amal Fellowship but unfortunately our batches were not same. I requested both Mam Zaryab and Zarafshan to change my batch from 152 to 151. I requested my friend to send me strong English statements to convince her. He used to send me and I used to copy paste those but Mam Zaryab said that she would have one on one session with me and I will have to give her a solid reason to convince her to change the batch. On next day, I couldn’t convince Mam. Mam used emotional tactics, she said that she doesn’t want to lose a talented fellow like you and advised me to be independent. When I didn’t agree she used last trick and asked me to remain in 152 batch for 2 weeks and said after that I will be independent to take the decision whether to live in batch 152 or shift to 151.

When I started interacting with fellows and the sessions, I had to change the decision. After 2 weeks, Mam asked me,“are you willing to change the batch?”. I refused to change batch.

The way Mam gave confidence to use own words, the project works and interaction with learning group members and trolling of fellows on my own entirely changed me and made me independent and responsible, gave me courage to face the situations . Now I think If I’d have changed my batch, I’d never be so confident and independent.

Thanks Mam Zaryab and Zarafshan for exploring my hidden talent and the continuous support.

Thanks all fellows
